The Asian Journal of Resilience (AJR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international research journal published annually by Palawan State University. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for scholarly work that advances understanding of human and environmental dynamics in Asia, with particular attention to how individuals, communities, systems, and environments experience, adapt to, and navigate change and adversity.
AJR welcomes research from across the social sciences, natural sciences, humanities, education, health sciences, tourism, technology, commerce, and industry. While resilience and wellbeing are core themes, the journal also accommodates scholarly inquiries into related social, cultural, economic, environmental, and policy issues whose insights contribute to a broader understanding of human-environment interaction, adaptation, variability, and capacity for change. AJR is committed to rigorous double-blind peer review and adherence to ethical publication standards.
